Service Questions

How many services are there in a year?

With monthly servicing (every 4 weeks) there are 13 services in the year. With Fortnightly servicing, there are 26 services per year.

Do you service on the weekends?

Unless there are extenuating services, we service Monday to Friday only.

Do you do home nappy bin services?

Yes, Priority Hygiene Services services commercial and residential premises.

How regularly does Priority Hygiene service sanitary bins?

Our service schedule is flexible to suit each customer's needs. Services can be performed more or less frequently depending on what you require.

How often do I need my washroom serviced?

Our service schedule is flexible to suit each customer's needs. Services can be performed more or less frequently depending on what you require.

Do we still need our cleaners?

Yes. The Priority Hygiene washroom service is not designed to replace day to day cleaning. We enhance their service by regular servicing and ensuring sanitisers, air fresheners, soap dispensers, soaps and hand drying equipment are all fully stocked and in good working order.

Why do we need an air freshener unit on the wall?

This unit cannot be touched or interfered with so it protects you from cross-contamination and the potential for vandalism. The measured sprays, at regular intervals, ensures the most cost effective use of the unit.

What if I need an emergency service?

Please contact us immediately on 0418 873 062 or email irene@priorityhygiene.com.au and we'll arrange one for you at your convenience. A charge may apply.

Do you exchange bins when you do the service?

Yes. At each and every service, every bin is exchanged with a freshly cleaned, lined and sanitised bin.

We are using another service provider but we don’t understand what we’re paying for. Can you help?

Sure. There's no mystery to toilet services. We can provide good, easy to understand advice over the phone or carry out a detailed no obligation site survey.

Do I have to ring to get my service?

You don't have to ring to get service. Service is scheduled automatically. Each site is registered electronically and an audited task list is produced for our technician daily

How do I know the service has been done? Do I get a receipt?

Each site is issued with a service card after each service. All service vehicles have monitored GPS tracking systems We can tell you at any time exactly when your service is due; or past history of services.

Do you also offer short term services such as events, festivals and other public gatherings?

What are your payment methods? Can I pay online?

Payments can be made via Direct Debit, Cheque or Credit Card. You can also pay online via PayPal.

Will my service be delayed due to holidays ?

Priority Hygiene works with each of its customers to ensure their needs are attended to over any holiday periods. This may include extra services or alternative days as required.

What happens to my service if there are weather disturbances ?

Priority Hygiene will do everything in its power to service your bin on the allotted day. Should there be a large weather event, an alternative service will be arranged within 2 business days.

Product Questions

Do you charge for product delivery?

If the products you are ordering are delivered with your service, there is no delivery fee. If you need products in between services, there is a $15.00 delivery charge.

Why should I use toilet seat wipes?

Using toilet paper or tissues to wipe the seat can aid in the spread of bacteria. Wipes assist in eliminating bacteria and provide a hygienic surface.

Technical Questions

What size are your sanitary bins?

The Sanitary bins have a capacity of 22 litres and weigh 1.7kg. The dimensions: 610mm(H) x 170mm(W) x310mm(D).

What is the difference between small, medium and large nappy bins?

The difference between the nappy bin sizes is to do with their capacity. The small bins are 32L capacity, the medium bins are 48L capacity and the large bins are 60L capacity. The size you need would depend on how many bins you’re installing and how much traffic they will receive.

How is the waste disposed of?

Priority Hygiene has a facility in Brendale, where the bins are emptied, cleaned and prepared for delivery. Waste is removed according to Australian Standards by our Waste Removal contractor and disposed of hygienically

Can I dispose of pets waste in the bins?

No. No other waste than sanitary hygiene products should be placed in the Sanitary Bins. Only soiled nappies should be placed in the Nappy Bins

Can we throw biodegradable and non-biodegradable together in a bin?

Yes. As long as it is sanitary items in sanitary bins and soiled nappys in nappy bins, this is possible.

Payment Terms & Conditions

Is there a charge for installation?

No. Priority Hygiene offers free installation on all of our services.

Do we get a discount if we choose a variety of services?

Absolutely. Not only are we very competitive, every service added to your program attracts a structure of discounts based on the number of units and the variety of services added. If we can’t save you money, something’s wrong.

Do you have an electronic billing facility?

Yes. Please email us and we can arrange this for you: accounts@priorityhygiene.com.au

Can I cancel my service?

Service Terms are for 12 months. You can end your contract 30 days prior to the service agreement ending. Past this time, it rolls into another 12 month contract.

Can I put my service on hold?

Yes, if you are closing your premises for an extended period, please let us know and we can hold the service for you.

Are there any other fees like environmental fees, administration fees aside from GST?

No, Priority Hygiene has no hidden fees.
